The Compliant Councils Hub is a tool for for town and parish councils to help them be more confident in their understanding of data protection and compliance. The Compliant Councils Hub includes access to on-demand training, walkthrough guides, resources and templates, as well as a really useful monthly e-Bulletin with advice, news and best practice, delivered straight to your inbox. It optionally includes 1-2-1 consultation sessions to our data protection expert and access to our range of live masterclass events.
As described in the pricing matrix above, we offer three plans for councils to choose from, each with different features and benefits. Prices are subject to VAT.
Our regular, live masterclasses will take place on a rolling basis all year round. If you’ve selected a package that includes Masterclasses, you will be able to book to join the masterclasses from within the Compliant Councils Hub itself. These sessions are live and held on Zoom.
If you’ve selected a package that includes 1-2-1 consultations with our Data Protection Expert, you will be able to book a session with them inside the Compliant Councils Hub itself.
We have teamed up with nationally-recognised data protection lawyer Raoul Lumb of Simons Muirhead & Burton LLP, who will be able to provide councils with direct legal advice or support, when it’s needed most. More information on how to get a referral is given in the Compliant Councils Hub.
Councils that sign up will receive one shared login (username and password), which may be shared between Officers of a parish or town council. The login should not be given to Councillors.
We currently provide data protection training for Councillors directly through our partnerships with a number of County Associations of Local Councils. However, the Compliant Councils Hub will include really useful content about how councillors and councils should separately manage data and how to deal with problems that arise, as well as how to manage personal devices. Please note, however, that access to the Hub is for Officers only at this stage.
