Council Hive is a subscription-based service exclusively designed for parish and town councils.


It offers tailored support to help councils improve their communication, community engagement, and information governance compliance.


Council Hive provides access to expert advice, training, and resources, ensuring councils can navigate challenges like GDPR and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests while building stronger relationships with their communities.


Through the new Council Hive Hub, councils have access to four key services:


1. Council Hive Academy

This is your go-to place for training and learning. The Academy provides councils with a range of masterclasses, workshops, and webinars designed to enhance skills in communication, governance, and engagement. Training sessions are accessible online and cover essential topics like social media strategy, data protection, and public consultation best practices.


2. Council Hive Resources

The Resources section of the Hub offers a vast library of customizable templates, guides, and toolkits. Councils can easily download and use resources such as GDPR compliance checklists, FOI request templates, or community survey forms. You can even request bespoke materials tailored to your council’s specific needs, all at no additional cost.


3. Council Hive Events

This section provides access to a calendar of upcoming events, including in-person and virtual conferences, networking opportunities, and council-specific workshops. These events are designed to keep councils updated on emerging trends, new legislation, and best practices. It's also a great way to connect with other councils to share insights and experiences.


4. Council Hive Support

For councils facing specific challenges or needing expert advice, the Support section provides on-demand access to professionals who can assist with communication, engagement, and compliance issues. Whether it’s advice on handling difficult FOI requests or guidance on engaging the community through digital platforms, this service ensures councils have the support they need, when they need it.
